Daughters of the American Revolution
Taliaferro Chapter
Georgetown, Ohio
Welcome to the Taliaferro Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution! We are tucked in the rolling hills of southeastern Ohio and along the beautiful Ohio River.
Brown County, particularly Georgetown, is the boyhood home of Ulysses S. Grant, 18th President of the United States of America. President Grant lived here from 1823 (when he was 1 yr old) until 1839, when he left for the United States Military Academy at
West Point. Brown County is rich in history and tradition and
is home to one of two Ohio veterans homes.
Thanks for visiting! We would love to hear from you!
